On Diet??

November 11th, 2008

I came across a friend who was filling up his lunch plate. He pilled up just a few scoop of rice and a person next to him was asking why was he taking such small amount of rice. And his answer was, ‘I’m on diet’.

Now, here’s the fact that most people are used to be doing that is on diet. Either to loose some pounds or to maintain their figure. And again, the fact, not many succeed.

Why? Psychology plays an important role in getting you to your goal. When you said ‘I’m on diet’, you’re actually putting the thoughts in to your brain. And that thoughts makes you think “I’m currently on diet” as ‘on diet’ puts an impression of a temporary diet. Once you’re off diet, then it’s over.

What should actually be done by someone who’s trying to loose weight or keep their shape is to remove the ‘On diet’ thoughts and implant the all new ‘I have changed my eating habit’ thoughts in.

Here, ‘I have changed my eating habit’ enables your brain to tell you that you’re now have moved from eating less healthy to a much more healthy food. And the good fact is you’ll never be ‘on’ or ‘off’. You’ll be eating right and in no time reaching your goal.

Remember, eat right not eat less.
